Rikshemvärnsstaben is looking for an experienced administrator
The Rikshemvärnsstaben is seeking an experienced administrator to work with the Voluntary Defense Organizations (FFO). The position involves responsibility for developing, ordering, quality assuring, and following up on the Swedish Armed Forces' collaboration with 18 FFOs through a solution-focused and quality-conscious partnership. The position is part of the Implementation Department, Voluntary Section, which consists of four experienced, professional employees focused on results through collaboration and forward momentum. About the unit
The Voluntary Section, part of the Implementation Department, manages and maintains the Swedish Armed Forces' contacts with FFOs by being responsible for direction, ordering, collaboration, and cooperation. The work is characterized by close cooperation with branches of the Armed Forces, Combat Forces, and Military Regions as well as other parts of the Headquarters.
Main responsibilities:
The position involves being responsible for ordering FFO activities and developing, following up, and quality assuring the ordered FFO activities. You will support the planning and implementation of ordering dialogues with FFOs and be responsible for staff tasks related to FFO activities. The position also includes responsibility for developing, ordering, and following up on the Swedish Armed Forces' 25 Home Guard music corps regarding Defense Music. This means you will be the responsible orderer and central music administrator for the 25 Home Guard music corps. The work also includes synchronizing contacts with Defense Music (FÖMUS) and leading an annual music meeting.
Continuous travel occurs for follow-up of voluntary activities and representation at events conducted by FFOs with approximately 60 travel days per year.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary degree
- Relevant and current work experience as an administrator
- Knowledge of and understanding of work at the training group or at the central level and with voluntary defense activities
- Relevant experience of staff work
- Relevant work experience in collaboration, planning, and coordination
- Good ability to compile and present results both orally and in writing in Swedish
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Driver's license B
Personal qualities:

You are communicative, have good collaboration skills, are social, and find it easy to create and develop contacts, contributing to a positive collaboration climate. Last but not least, you are reliable and results-oriented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Employment form: Temporary position until 31/12 2025. Possible extension.
The workplace is in Stockholm, but good opportunities for remote work and/or commuting are available. Start date: as soon as possible by agreement.

The Home Guard is part of the Swedish Armed Forces' operational organization and is in strong growth.
The Home Guard operates in peace, crisis, and war, and as a combat unit, its main task is to protect, guard, monitor the surface, and support society. In many ways, the Home Guard is a national backbone for the defense and protection of Sweden. The number of permanent employees should be around 800, and the volunteers in the Home Guard units should be around 25,000.
The Rikshemvärnsstaben is the central staff of the Rikshemvärnschef to lead and direct the unit production of the combat force of the Home Guard. The Rikshemvärnschef is responsible for developing and maintaining the combat force of the Home Guard, which consists of four military regions with staffs, training groups, territorial units, and Home Guard units, the Home Guard Combat School HvSS, and music corps.
