Accountant at HBV
Are you an experienced Accountant looking to work in a broad role with significant responsibility? Are you passionate about digitalization and effective financial management? HBV is now seeking a structured and analytical Accountant who wants to be part of an engaged team and contribute to a modern and quality-assured finance function.
About the Company
HBV is a purchasing function owned by Sweden's public housing companies. They conduct coordinated procurements of goods and services related to construction, renovation, and property management. They help their members manage and develop housing for their tenants on a daily basis. HBV is the obvious first choice for purchasing and procurement within property-related goods and services.

Your Responsibilities
In the role of Accountant at HBV, you will have a central function within the finance unit of 8 people. You will work closely with the Head of Finance, accounting assistants, and controllers to ensure quality and accuracy in our financial work.
Your responsibilities will primarily include:
- Responsibility for ongoing accounting and closing work (monthly, quarterly, and annual closings)
- Liquidity planning and management of cash flows
- Account reconciliations and accruals
- Management of the company's VAT and employer declarations
- Administration of the company's financial investments and fixed assets
- Planning and follow-up of budgets in collaboration with the Head of Finance
- Coordination of audits in collaboration with the Head of Finance
- Development of financial routines and processes, focusing on digitalization
- Statistics and report preparation as well as analysis work
- Quality assurance of the team's compiled work
Your Profile
In the role of Accountant at HBV, we are looking for someone with a university or college degree in accounting and 3-5 years of experience in independent work with the aforementioned responsibilities. You feel comfortable in a role characterized by responsibility in a dynamic environment where the workday can change quickly.
We are looking for someone with an analytical and meticulous working style and a holistic view of accounting and financial management. You thrive in a role where you take responsibility, work systematically, and contribute to the improvement and development of the finance function's processes. We see that you are an independent and solution-oriented person with an unpretentious attitude and good collaboration skills. If you also have an interest in IT and business systems and want to help develop these, it is a significant plus.

Success Factors
- Academic education in finance with a focus on accounting
- At least 3-5 years of experience in qualified accounting work and closings
- Good system proficiency and preferably experience with Visma Business
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- An interest in digitalization and the development of financial processes
