Job Description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a temporary planner to join the Planning and Support team, which has overall responsibility for planning within the section. In the role of planner, you will support and assist project managers in their daily work with project planning. The work also involves coordination with other projects that may affect or be affected by the projects you are working on. You will establish the main schedule in collaboration with the project organization to create a common understanding of the schedule and follow up on deviations over time. The schedule is one of the most important control tools within the project.

Your role includes being responsible for, analyzing, and controlling the scheduling and production scheduling work in the projects according to the client's guidelines and suggesting adjustments to meet set deadlines.

Overall, the role involves establishing project schedules with associated production scheduling and time management within projects in collaboration with project managers and conducting analyses of the plans.

You have good knowledge of production and time planning at a high level but can also handle details and discuss them with relevant parties. You are responsible for establishing the project's scheduling and keeping the schedule up to date so that the project's progress can be reported at any given time.

You need to be analytical, systematic, and structured, as well as have high integrity. In addition, you should enjoy collaborating, have a good ability to build relationships, and be a skilled communicator – attentive, clear, and receptive to others' perspectives. A good communicator expresses themselves simply and clearly, focusing on the recipient's conditions and needs.

The role also involves collaborating with various parts of the project organization, other units within the client's operations, as well as suppliers and contractors.

Mandatory Requirements

• Higher education or vocational training in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Road and Water, Land Surveying, Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering.
• You must have at least 4 years of experience in scheduling/production planning in complex projects, e.g., construction projects, infrastructure projects, system projects.
• At least 4 years of experience in scheduling, using system support such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent, within construction projects, infrastructure projects.
• At least 4 years of experience in developing schedules where multiple suppliers' schedules must be coordinated to deliver the project.
• At least 4 years of experience planning all phases of the project life cycle (analysis, planning, execution, closure).

Value-Added Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience working in the public sector or on the contractor side.
• At least 4 years of experience with system support Antura or similar systems such as Zoho Projects, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Wrike, Microsoft Project, Adobe Workfront.
• 4 years of experience in business development related to scheduling.
