Job Description

In the role of sustainability controller, you will play an important part in strengthening our internal sustainability work. We are facing an exciting development, and in this role, you will be responsible for driving and developing our reporting process. You will be part of Sweco's finance team, closely collaborating with the sustainability leader at KMA. Your primary contacts will be our sustainability developers and accounting economists, as well as other key functions to guide, support decision-making, and report on sustainability efforts.

You will work daily in various systems such as ERP, reporting, and analysis systems. An important part of the role is to work on identifying improvements and developing internal processes, as well as finding the best use of the systems.

Main Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility:

• Sustainability reporting
• Ensure compliance with CSRD based on Sweco's corporate principles
• Develop and improve the reporting process
• Analyze and evaluate data to measure sustainability performance and identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate and coordinate with different departments and the corporate group to ensure consistent and accurate sustainability reporting
• Contact with the KMA function regarding sustainability goals and climate action plans
• Drive the development of processes and routines related to sustainability reporting

Who Are You?

To succeed in the role of sustainability controller, we see that you have the following background:

• Experience in accounting and/or auditing, as well as several years of work in the role of controller
• Familiarity with systems
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of regulations in the area (CSRD, ESRS, etc.)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English as you will use both languages in your daily work

It is an advantage if you have worked with sustainability reporting, data analysis in sustainability, and processes in the area, as well as if you have good system skills where you feel comfortable navigating in a case management system, booking system, HR system, or equivalent.
