Trollbäcken Preschool, located in Glimåkra, has four departments and a team of 14 dedicated colleagues. We are a multilingual preschool and are therefore looking for staff who want to contribute to our development work around language development.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool assistant with us, you will work with your colleagues to create a pedagogical environment that challenges and stimulates children's development and learning. You will provide children with a safe care and learning environment and ensure that the teaching is designed according to the curriculum's goals and the children's individual needs and circumstances.

You will work to ensure that every child receives support to be a part of the group. Together with the team, you will support the child in building relationships, participating in play, and developing impulse control.

You will create good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues, characterized by mutual respect and trust, as well as positive expectations. You are flexible and collaborate across departmental boundaries. In a systematic way, you will reflect on the practical work both individually and together with others. You will stay updated on new research and events in the world and contribute to a good working environment and collegial learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for candidates with a preschool assistant education, for example, in child and leisure. We seek individuals with experience working as a preschool assistant. Experience working in a team is an advantage.

You have the ability to adapt the pedagogical education to each child's individual circumstances and needs. It is a requirement that you are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and the Convention on the Rights of the Child and have the ability to implement these in practice.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you are multilingual.

We expect you to have good computer skills and the ability to handle technology and digital tools in teaching.

You are a person who can take initiative, find solutions, and handle changing situations. Furthermore, you have a professional and positive attitude, are engaged, attentive, and respectful, with high personal maturity and responsibility.

A criminal record extract for schools and preschools must be presented before employment can be offered.

You need to have a B driver's license.
