JOB DESCRIPTION

As a business developer, you will be a key person in the management team and become a pedagogical leader in the field. Together with the principal and unit developers in the area, you will form a management group.

The focus of the role is to develop, quality assure, and lead the operations at the preschool and ensure that the teaching is designed according to the curriculum and other governing documents. This is done by planning, implementing, evaluating, and analyzing the pedagogical activities together with the work teams. Together with the principal, you will identify further areas for development.

By providing guidance, feedback, and sharing your knowledge and experiences, the business developer ensures quality in the operations.

A selection of tasks:

• Ensure that teaching is of good quality and conducted according to the curriculum and other governing documents
• Be a good role model in the professional, practical, and pedagogical actions of everyday life.
• Assist the principal in the practical implementation of systematic quality work
• Lead reflections and discussions about the content of the pedagogical activities at both group and individual levels.
• Support and inspire the development of learning environments.
• Stay updated on evidence-based research and implement it in the operations
• Together with the principal and unit developers, create/form development days, evening conferences, and events.
• Act as a mentor or support for mentors to newly graduated preschool teachers when needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Preschool teacher education
Driver's license and access to a car

Experience in:

• Leading other educators towards development
• Developing yourself by actively seeking new research and science
• Leading and communicating in larger contexts such as development days
