Yrkesgymnasiet in Malmö is primarily looking for a certified vocational teacher in Child and Leisure, but those with at least five years of work experience in the industry are also welcome to apply.

With us, students learn a profession from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with future student assistants, childcare workers, personal trainers, health coaches, and sports hall staff. More than half of the students' education time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future careers with the support of their supervisors and engaged educators.

In the Child and Leisure program, students encounter people with diverse needs and opportunities every day. Through the focus on Educational and Social Work, you will develop knowledge and skills, preparing students for careers as childcare workers or student assistants. The focus on Leisure and Health also equips students with the qualities and competencies for a future in professions such as personal trainers, health coaches, or sports hall staff.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in Child and Leisure or has at least five years of experience in the industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between school, students, and the business community.
• Has a driver's license and preferably access to a personal vehicle.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborates with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in Child and Leisure and a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of student assistants, childcare workers, personal trainers, health coaches, and sports hall staff. A teaching license and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
