S:t Jörgens School is an F-6 school with approximately 340 students located in central Helsingborg. About thirty teachers work at the school. Our preschool class is located in Vikingsbergsparken, and we also have an after-school program at the school. Our organization is based on one student group in each grade for which a group of educators has a shared responsibility. The foundation of all our activities is the focus on the best interests of the children. We have a common value base that we make visible in our daily operations.

Job responsibilities

You now have the chance to become part of S:t Jörgen School as we are looking for a craft teacher in wood and metal, working with grades 3 to 6. You will provide students with basic skills and conditions to develop ideas, consider different solutions, create objects, and evaluate results. You make a difference for our students by believing in their abilities and encouraging creativity and curiosity. You show and make it clear to each student that they can succeed in both big and small ways throughout the day.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach wood and metal in grades 3-6. We expect you to be someone who wants and dares to take your own initiative. You have the will and ambition to continuously develop the operations towards an inclusive learning environment that engages students regardless of their conditions and interests. You are a team player with a positive view of your surroundings and a flexible, solution-focused approach to work.
