Job Responsibilities

We are now expanding our EHT with two additional special teachers. If you want to help shape our new team, you are welcome to apply for a position with us. As a special teacher, you will plan and implement teaching, assessments, guidance, and observations of both individual children, students, and groups/classes. You will work preventively and promote well-being. As a special teacher, you will also participate in operational and methodological development and provide support to management in working with students in need of special support.

You are responsible for the process regarding special support and the associated documentation, as well as follow-up and evaluation. In your role at Glasbruksskolan, you will become part of our student health team, and together we create the best possible conditions for each student's best school experience. At Glasbruksskolan, we strive for good collaboration where the professions of student health and teachers have the opportunity to work together and create a good learning environment with a focus on learning and health. You will be responsible for and develop the work with support measures in close collaboration with the working teams.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher and has a special teacher's degree for work in grades 1-6. Previous experience working as a special teacher is an advantage. You need to have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. It is important that you have good didactic and pedagogical skills, as well as knowledge of relevant digital tools. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work as a special teacher, and with good familiarity and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. You have a positive view of students, and as a person, you are inspiring, responsible, attentive, and collaborative. Furthermore, you should have a desire to develop your work.

Glasbruksskolan is located in Limhamn's Sjöstad near Ribersborgsfältet and was inaugurated in September 2016. Glasbruksskolan is a K-6 school with approximately 550 students, where the after-school program is an integrated part of the school.
