The Adapted Primary School in Ängelholm is located in two schools. Grades 1-6, including the adapted school's after-school care, are at Ängelholms Montessoriskola, and grades 7-9 are at Nyhemsskolan. We currently have about 65 students in the Adapted Primary School.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for the educational activities in the after-school care of the adapted primary school. Part of the job includes student and staff scheduling, school transport coordination, and staffing. Some working hours may be scheduled during school hours in class, but most of the working hours will be spent in the children's group during after-school hours. You will be part of a team with special teachers/pedagogues working at the Adapted Primary School located at Ängelholms Montessoriskola. You will work closely with the school management and staff in the adapted school's after-school care.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have good insight and knowledge of the school/after-school care's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. You are creative and can adapt your approach and your pedagogical methods and techniques based on the individual student's needs or the needs of the student group. You develop the educational activities to be both fun, inspiring, and challenging. We expect you to see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students. You create good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You are organized and can structure the entire day for the adapted primary school's after-school care. You have pedagogical education towards after-school care and experience from adapted primary school. It is an advantage if you have training in special education, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC.

You have good computer skills and experience using IT in your teaching. It is essential that you master good Swedish in both spoken and written form. Scope: 80-100%.
