BMSL is a multilingual preschool and primary school following the Swedish curriculum. From the age of one to ninth grade, our students pass through the same gate here in central Lund. This provides security and continuity for students, teachers, and parents alike. Perhaps this explains why many students see the school as their second home. For several years, our simple philosophy has contributed to us achieving some of Sweden's best academic results and having students who dare to be themselves.

Today, there are 44 children in preschool distributed across three departments and 416 students in primary school F-9. Educators and children/students come from various countries and diverse cultures. BMSL is a highly stimulating and dynamic workplace. In our operations, children are exposed to English, French, and Swedish from the moment they start preschool until they leave primary school.

We are now looking for a licensed preschool teacher for our wonderful preschool as one of our employees has the opportunity to advance in their career as a principal. The position is a permanent full-time position, and you will work in one of our three departments. You are well acquainted with the preschool curriculum and work to promote the development and learning of all children. Together with the team, you are responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and evaluating teaching to drive education forward based on the children's interests and curiosity. You have the ability to build and create trusting relationships, engagement, and security among children, guardians, and colleagues.

Applicants are welcome to have Montessori training.

As a person, you are calm, secure, attentive, and have excellent collaboration skills with your colleagues, as well as across departments, since we work very closely together. As a licensed preschool teacher, you should be passionate about your profession, willing to further develop both yourself and the collegial environment, and thus also the education. Engagement, humility, and professionalism permeate your good work. You are structured and have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others. Being flexible, solution-oriented, and driven by joy and laughter is a given for you to create a positive work environment.

You have excellent knowledge of the Swedish language and are fluent in both spoken and written forms. Since we are a multilingual preschool, we also expect you to be comfortable speaking and writing in English.
