About the Role and Your Responsibilities

As a primary school teacher, you work pedagogically and socially based on the organization's goals and guidelines as well as current governing documents.

You are well acquainted with the current curriculum and are responsible for the pedagogical content of the teaching while promoting students' learning and development.

We Are Looking for You

We are looking for someone with a primary school teacher's degree and teaching certification with qualifications to teach mathematics, science, Swedish, social studies, and English for grades 4-6. Previous teaching experience is an advantage. You have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them pedagogically in your daily work.

You should have the ability to see each individual student's development needs in relation to the curriculum and knowledge requirements. We also appreciate your interest and knowledge in IT in the learning environment and that digital equipment is used as a natural part of your teaching. You are a confident and clear leader in the classroom, constantly working to find different ways to create engagement and participation among your students. Your communication skills are excellent, and you have well-functioning relationships with both students and guardians. As a person, you are driven, proactive, responsible, and solution-focused. You have a strong commitment to learning and school development and actively work to promote collegial learning. You collaborate well with your colleagues but also enjoy working independently.
