About the Workplace
Limhamn School started the 2024/2025 school year with three classes in grade 7. Over the next few years, the school will grow and eventually have a capacity for about 450 students in grades 7-9. We will also have a resource school with about 30 students. Limhamn School's focus is on creating the best conditions for students' knowledge development in a safe and trusting environment, challenging students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. We believe that each student is unique, and we strive to give all students the best opportunities to succeed, both in school and in life. You will come to a humble and open work climate where we work together for each student's best school and each employee's best workplace. We are located in Limhamn's waterfront city, and the school building, completed in 2018, is fresh and airy with large bright classrooms, well-equipped special rooms, and pleasant social areas. Sports lessons are conducted in the nearby Glasbruk School's sports hall. On our schoolyard, there is a basketball court and a small football field. In the middle of the schoolyard stands a locomotive shed from 1896; a remnant from the time when the area was an industrial area with a train station.
The Primary School Administration – the city's largest administration with about 80 schools, 6300 employees, and 36000 students offers a workplace for everyone. Here we want to grow, develop, and challenge each other in our learning together – every day. We ensure that everyone has a good working environment and invest in leadership. Together, we all work for each student's best school!
