You will teach science (biology, physics, and chemistry) in grades 7-9 and be a mentor in grade 9. You are responsible for planning and teaching, as well as assessing your students' acquired knowledge. Here you will have the opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues in an open and permissive environment where collegial exchange and learning are a given. Your teaching is grounded in governing documents and current research. You develop and advance your subject with a high ambition for inclusive teaching for all students. Your teaching is also modern and creative, aiming to reach and find strategies to strengthen your students, both academically and in their personal development. At Söderkullaskolan, our teachers are part of work and subject teams that together plan, assess, and are responsible for students' education and development. With us, you should never feel alone in your assignment. In addition to your team of teachers, you will also collaborate with subject teachers from other levels and be led by a manager who believes in the school as a learning organization where professional development and personal growth are valued.

Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that students have a well-functioning school experience. Planning, evaluation, student care, development talks, and continuous contact with guardians are examples of tasks included in the assignment. It may also involve mentoring student teachers. Qualifications

You who are applying are a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach biology, physics, and chemistry in grades 7-9. You also have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we see it as an advantage. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a calm and good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work for good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school. To fit as a primary school teacher with us at Söderkullaskolan, it is important that you have a clear pedagogical leadership in the classroom, are extremely structured, and are very skilled at handling young people with various support needs and adaptations. You also need to be good at managing conflicts between students. You see diversity as a strength and enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.

Söderkullaskolan is a K-9 school in southern Malmö where our approximately 900 students are at the center.
