About Us

Hedda Anderssongymnasiet is Lund Municipality's newest high school focused on creativity, proactivity, and entrepreneurship.

Together, we take the first steps towards creating a better future for all of us. Hedda started in 2018 and offers programs in economics, technology, social sciences, and natural sciences. Hedda Anderssongymnasiet currently has about 1000 students and moved into the completely newly built school building on Svanevägen in the autumn of 2023. Now we have room to grow!

Job Responsibilities

As a special educator at Hedda Anderssongymnasiet, you will share responsibility for the special educational work across the entire school together with your two colleagues in similar roles in the school's other programs. You will work health-promoting and preventive, be involved in the school's systematic quality work and pedagogical development. You are a good communicator and experienced in conversing with teachers, students, and guardians.

You will be particularly responsible for the work in the school's Natural Science and Technical programs and will be part of a student health team along with the school nurse, counselor, career advisor, and school leaders. You will work closely with the school's teachers in two pedagogical process teams.

Part of the teaching at the school is interdisciplinary and project-oriented. We also collaborate with representatives from the business community, higher education, and other societal institutions to ensure that students' learning is based on real challenges and that their conclusions are fed back to these external stakeholders. Part of the student health's preventive work will occur in collaboration with teachers and be linked to these projects. You will contribute your professional expertise and have a unique opportunity to influence how the school is shaped.

You will also be involved in the collaboration within the network for the municipality's special educators at the high school level.

We Are Looking For You

You are a qualified special educator, have a teaching license, and have taught at the high school level. You are clear, structured, solution-focused, flexible, and engaged. You have a positive view of students based on the belief that all students can and want to learn, and you have the ability to create enthusiasm in various learning situations. You are well acquainted with the governing documents of high school education.

Good IT skills are required. Experience in language-enhancing work is an advantage.
