Here, the approximately 250 students are at the center of our work, which is based on the key concepts of Knowledge, Care, and Language, as these are the most important prerequisites for each student to develop as much as possible and achieve their goals. The Music Primary School Synkopen is a school for about 250 students with an interest in music. Music creates a positive learning climate, greater job satisfaction, and fosters a sense of community among students of different ages, making the atmosphere at the school familial and safe. Here, talents and skills are developed among students from preschool to ninth grade. At Synkopen, we strive to be a school of an unexpected kind.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for an engaged and engaging French teacher for our students in grades 6-9, with a position at 50%. You will be part of the upper secondary working team at Slottet but will also teach students at Synkopen, which is located in the same building and with whom we collaborate closely.

With us, you are expected to drive and develop your pedagogical work in a way that is inspiring for the students. The school operates based on research regarding language-developing methods, low-affective responses, Positive Behavioral Support in Schools, and Cooperative Learning. We have come a long way, and since we have much left to do, we believe it is important to ensure that we have fun together along the way.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with the qualification to teach grades 6-9 in French. It is an advantage if you are also qualified in other subjects or trained in special education. Whether you have several years of experience or have recently graduated is not decisive; the most important thing is that you feel secure in yourself and your role. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You are a teacher who enjoys helping all students understand and provides them with various strategies to believe in their abilities and develop their knowledge. You have a professional demeanor towards everyone you meet and find it easy to build relationships. The needs of the students come first for you. You care about others and stand up for the school's values.

Since digital technology is a good tool for making learning accessible, it is also important that you have good digital skills. You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You believe in the value of collegial learning, use assessment for learning to develop your teaching, and take responsibility for the students' knowledge development.
