Here, you will find employees who are passionate about welfare and want to turn ideas into reality. Kristianstad Municipality offers several different career paths so that you can develop throughout your working life.
Degebergaskolan is a K-9 school with approximately 350 students characterized by a calm and friendly atmosphere where students and staff thrive and take good care of each other. Safety and a conducive learning environment are important factors for students' learning, and we place great emphasis on leadership in the classroom.
At Degebergaskolan, we are in an exciting development phase, where we, together with Kristianstad University, are driving a collaborative project focused on writing in education. The project involves all classes and teaching staff at the school with activities in the classroom.
We need to expand with an additional teacher for grades 4-6 due to an increased number of students, so now you have the unique opportunity to join our fantastic team in the middle school. If you are interested in sports and convinced that students must work with both body and mind to achieve high goal fulfillment, you will thrive with us.
Warm welcome with your application!
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a teacher with us, you stimulate students to learn and take responsibility for their own learning. With commitment and enthusiasm, you create a safe learning environment based on mutual respect and collaboration, through good leadership both inside and outside the classroom.
Teaching is designed based on the curriculum's goals, where planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation are important cornerstones. You have positive and high expectations of the students and adapt the teaching based on each student's level, focusing on the best interests of the student.
Through dialogue, you create good relationships characterized by mutual respect and a trusting approach. In your role, you keep yourself updated on events in the world and the everyday lives of young people. Alternative teaching tools and documentation are a natural part of your work. In a systematic way, you reflect on the practical work, and together with colleagues, you drive development work in the team/school. You also share responsibility for both your own and the group's planning and further development.
If you are new as a teacher, you will be supported by a mentor for the best guidance in your work, and if you are an unqualified teacher, you can teach but not be responsible for it. The responsibility for grading lies with a qualified teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching qualification with the authority to teach grades 4-6 in the subjects of Swedish, English, Mathematics, and SO or NO in primary school. Secondly, we are looking for someone with subject knowledge at the university level in the above subjects. It is an advantage if you have pedagogical training at the university level. We want you to have experience working as a teacher in primary school and have a good ability to teach children in need of special support.
You have the ability to adapt teaching based on each student's conditions, and your lessons are characterized by clear expectations, a conducive learning environment, and a desire to learn. You have commitment, enthusiasm, and a genuine interest in the school world and how it is affected by the outside world.
A success factor is your ability to create trusting relationships both inside and outside the school. Furthermore, you are a confident pedagogical leader with the ability to critically analyze your own and the team's working methods for continuous development.
Of course, you use digital technology in teaching and as a tool for information, planning, communication, and reporting. You organize and structure your work based on set goals.
As a person, you are communicative, attentive, and well acquainted with the ethical principles for teachers and have the ability to analyze and document students' abilities and knowledge.
