Yrkesgymnasiet in Malmö is a moderately sized school, and the atmosphere between students and staff is friendly and creative. Yrkesgymnasiet Malmö currently offers 7 different vocational programs and has 290 students in close collaboration with the local business community based on an apprenticeship concept where 75% of the education takes place in a workplace, known as workplace-based learning.

With us, you as a vocational teacher give students the opportunity to develop according to their conditions and provide them with theoretical knowledge, practical experience, and social competence to be well-prepared for the future.

Yrkesgymnasiet Malmö is primarily looking for a certified vocational teacher in sales and service; however, those with at least five years of work experience in the industry are also welcome to apply. With us, students learn a profession from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced supervisors. In this position, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the future sales and service professions. More than half of the students' education time takes place in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future careers with the support of their supervisors and engaged educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in sales and service or has at least five years of experience in the industry and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.
• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between the school, students, and the business community.
• Has a B driver's license and preferably access to a personal vehicle.
• Has the ability to work independently while being team-oriented and collaborates with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in sales and service, along with a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of skilled workers in sales and service. A teaching certification and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.

Your energy and commitment are of a nature that they inspire students and colleagues. When it comes to interaction and the fundamental values of ThorenGruppen, you are a good role model. Having a broad network and close collaboration with the industry is an advantage.
