About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Working in Social Psychiatry means that you provide social and pedagogical support to individuals with mental disabilities in a respectful manner.

By creating safety and structure, you support the user in their recovery process.

Your Role Includes

designing implementation plans together with the user, conducting regular evaluations, and participating in SIP. We collaborate broadly with, for example, relatives, guardians, and care neighbors. Your daily work is based on the user's individual implementation plan, which includes tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping. You motivate for activities and employment, both inside and outside the residence, to break isolation.

Regular documentation is part of your work with us.

To assist you in your role as a supervisor, you have a pedagogical coordinator, a unit administrator, and a team of colleagues who support and strengthen each other. Nurses are also part of our organization.

We Are Looking For You

We are looking for someone who has studied YH with a focus on social psychiatry, social pedagogy, social work, nursing with a focus on psychiatry, or other education that the employer deems relevant. If you also have training in recovery-oriented approaches or CAN assessment, it is a merit.

You need to have knowledge of social documentation, and if you have previously worked in the LifeCare IFO system, it is a merit.

We would like you to have work experience in social psychiatry and good knowledge of the target group. You need to have a good ability to collaborate, create structure, plan, and take responsibility. You are humble, clear, and see the equal value of all people.

About the Workplace

Support in Housing Väster includes Luzernvägen and Soldatgatan 2 with associated housing support in the western parts of Lund.

We are now looking for employees who will be based at Soldatgatan where you will work with users in the residence with comorbidity, mental disabilities, and ongoing harmful use and dependence. The work involves both supportive and compensatory assistance based on the user's needs. To succeed in the role of supervisor with us, you need to be able to work flexibly and start from the user's abilities and needs. Having a recovery-oriented approach and working relationship-building is the foundation of our work. Likewise, creating participation in everyday life and motivating for activities and employment.

In the associated housing support, you meet users with mental disabilities and support them in their homes based on the established implementation plan.

The social psychiatry area includes several operations such as housing support, employment, and work rehabilitation. The overall purpose of the operations is to increase the conditions for recovery. By offering flexible support that is individually designed with high accessibility, participation, and co-determination, individuals with mental disabilities can live as independently as possible.

We are part of the labor market and social administration where about 600 employees provide support to the residents of Lund who need social services. Together, we ensure that children and young people have the best possible upbringing. We start from the whole family's situation and that no one should suffer. It is about providing support to adults with harmful use and dependence or mental disabilities, to those who need financial assistance, guardianship, or support to study or work, as well as to refugees.
