Your Responsibilities

As our current child coordinator is changing positions, we are now looking for her replacement. As a child coordinator within our organization, you have primary responsibility for ensuring that children's needs and rights are met. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting conversations with children up to 18 years old.

• Receiving emergency placements and making urgent assessments.

• Addressing urgent needs and being available for those living with us.

• Performing practical tasks in the accommodation.

• Having contacts with authorities.

• Documenting according to the Social Services Act.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a social worker, behavioral scientist, or has another higher education deemed equivalent.

• Has documented knowledge of children's needs and rights and how children are affected by violence.

• Has training in the Trappan model.

• Has previous work experience in social work.

• Enjoys varied tasks, is flexible, and attentive.

• Is comfortable working independently and collaborating in a team.

• Is responsible and has achieved personal maturity that makes you secure in yourself.

• Has an empathetic and professional approach.

• Has knowledge of low-arousal responses.

• Has a driver's license.
