We at the Individual and Family Administration are committed to supporting children, young people, adults, and families through social work in various areas of social services. With a focus on high quality and individualized interventions, we always strive to help people live their lives with their own strength.

The unit is part of the area of child and youth services, which also includes follow-up, foster homes, and our common reception. The target group includes children and young people aged 0 - 20 years and their parents. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The social worker with extended responsibility plays a central role in supporting caseworkers in their work, which contributes to strengthening their competence. The role also includes ensuring quality and legal security in the work and promoting the development of the organization through collaboration and professional development. The broad area of responsibility includes supervision, decision-making, and quality assurance.

You will be responsible for:

• The daily case supervision and leading case discussions.
• Distributing incoming cases and supporting prioritization.
• Supervising preliminary assessments and making decisions in cases where an investigation is not initiated.
• Supervising and deciding in urgent cases according to LVU and LBS.
• Quality assuring that the work is carried out according to applicable legislation, guidelines, and the recommendations of the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• Ensuring that the caseworkers' documentation and investigations are of high quality.
• Being well-informed about current legislation, guidelines, and procedures and making decisions according to the applicable delegation order.
• Being responsible for monitoring the external environment and keeping updated on changes in the field.
• Participating in negotiations in court.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Social Work
• Driver's License B
• Experience in public authority work regarding children and young people
