At Enebacken Institution, we are now looking for two dedicated family therapists, one for our treatment department Lärkan, where a colleague is moving on to another position within Enebacken, and another who wants to help develop our newly established home treatment team.
Do you want to make a difference directly in families' home environments or at the institution? Then this job is for you!
Our employees describe Enebacken as a place where you feel you make a difference every day. Here you get to work closely with people and truly see the results of your efforts. We believe in building relationships through presence and respect, and we are driven by the desire to support our clients in taking steps forward in life. We believe in the importance of resilience – the ability to face change, manage challenges, and grow from experiences.
Job Responsibilities
At Enebacken, the work is about meeting our clients when they need us the most, even outside regular office hours.
As a family therapist at the institution, you work with families with children aged 0–12 years. In the institutional environment, you work in teams and collaborate closely with other colleagues in the department. At the institution, we work shifts, which include evenings and weekends (38.25 hours/week).
In the home treatment team, you work with families with children aged 0–18 years, in the families' home environment or in the children's local environment. You work independently and with your own cases. In the home treatment team, we work shifts that include evenings and Saturdays but not public holidays (40.00 hours/week).
At Enebacken, you work with a great deal of personal responsibility and a high mandate to drive cases independently and together with your colleagues. As a therapist at Enebacken, you will have the opportunity to delve into the important and complex work of helping families and children in difficult life situations to achieve change through therapeutic and supportive interventions.
We work according to evidence-based methods and a carefully structured treatment process, which means that we both follow guidelines and constantly strive to find new insights into what best supports each individual family. Some of our fundamental tools are based on signs of safety and MI. You will have the chance to develop your skills in various treatment methods while working closely with your colleagues to ensure that our interventions maintain the highest quality.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in social work who now wants to take the next step – to work more in-depth and have the opportunity to see the whole picture of a family and design treatment based on that.
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another education deemed suitable for the job. We also see that you need experience in social treatment work with children and parents, as well as knowledge of interaction and attachment-based work. Experience from treatment in institutions/outpatient care or with child/family authorities is an advantage.
To succeed in the role, you are:
- Reflective and open – You show your vulnerability and are receptive to others' perspectives. You communicate proactively, seek advice, listen, and show respect for different viewpoints. You have strong self-awareness and openly share your thoughts to strengthen community.
- Flexible and adaptable – You have the ability to handle changes with a positive attitude and adapt to different people and situations. You show respect and sensitivity to cultural and religious differences and see changes as an opportunity to develop and grow.
- Independent and secure – You are stable in yourself, which shows in your work. You work rationally and analytically, actively seeking to understand problems deeply to create effective and long-term solutions.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of methods such as Marte Meo, Cope, Cos-p, RePulse, CPP, KIBB, PYC.
You must be fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form and also have good English skills. Other languages are an advantage.
