Citronfjärilen is a preschool with a clear music profile, where music is a natural and important part of children's learning and development. We believe in the power of play and see it as central to children's knowledge acquisition and social development.

We spend a lot of time outdoors and see outdoor pedagogy as an obvious part of our operations. By combining music, movement, and outdoor activities, we create a learning environment that stimulates children's curiosity and creativity. We advocate for an active and healthy life, which is reflected in our daily activities both indoors and outdoors. At the same time, we offer a safe and calm environment where children have the opportunity for rest and recovery.

We are now looking for a substitute childcare worker to join our dedicated team during a parental leave.

About the Position

We are looking for an engaged, responsible, and creative educator who wants to be part of our team during a parental leave. The temporary position is 75–100% starting in August 2025 and will last for an extended period.

In your role as a childcare worker/preschool teacher, you will:

• Plan and implement educational activities based on the preschool's curriculum and our music profile.
• Promote children's development and learning through play, conversation, and thematic work.
• Be a safe and present educator who creates good relationships with the children and provides them with a safe, inspiring, and developing environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and guardians to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Use outdoor pedagogy as a natural part of daily work.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for someone who is a qualified childcare worker or preschool teacher and has an interest in music, play, and learning.

You are an educator who:

Is confident in your professional role and has a development-oriented approach.

Is positive, solution-focused, and proactive – you see opportunities instead of obstacles.

Has good collaboration skills and creates safe relationships with both children, guardians, and colleagues.

Is well acquainted with the preschool's governing documents and works according to the curriculum's goals.

Has a genuine commitment to children's learning and development.
