JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a brave and secure child social worker who wants to be part of our journey of change. We are at the beginning of our work to develop our placement unit with both employees, theme leaders, and competencies. We are a positive team consisting of two foster care social workers, two child social workers, and a team leader, and we now want to expand with two more Child Social Workers and are therefore looking for our next colleague! With us, we work from a holistic perspective focusing on the child's needs, well-being, and development. We believe that collaboration, both internally and externally, is of the utmost importance to provide our children and young people with the best opportunities in life. We are the small municipality that has close access to decisions, and where mandates are delegated far down in the organization, so with us, you will have both responsibility and the opportunity to fully utilize your skills.

Your tasks will include:

• Follow-up of interventions for placed children and young people
• Regular contact with the child, biological parents, and foster homes
• Close collaboration with our foster care social workers
• Documentation such as record-keeping, reassessments, and considerations
• Monitoring the external environment

In your role, the most important thing will be to build relationships and collaborate with children, parents, the family's network, and other organizations that the family is in contact with. You will have close cooperation with your three closest colleagues, our foster care social workers, and other investigators. Your work will also include daring to think and test new ideas, of course within the framework of the laws and regulations that govern your area of work. We are in the process of implementing Signs of Safety and work based on this.

For example, you will be part of a workgroup with a team leader, two foster care social workers, and three child social workers, as well as with the child and youth workgroup consisting of a team leader, a reception social worker, and five investigators.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working according to the above, you who feel that this team is where you want to belong or who think that this position, in this municipality, sounds like a perfect fit for me, where I can thrive and contribute with my skills. In other words, we are looking for someone who truly has an interest in the role and believes in our way of working and organizing, but who can also envision developing as a social worker.

Of course, you also need to meet some more formal requirements. Among these is that you should have a degree in social work. Previous experience in investigative work within social services, preferably with children and young people, is also meritorious, but equally important are your personal suitability, commitment, and attitude.

As a person, you have the ability to listen to different perspectives and collaborate with others. You are also good at structuring your work, prioritizing, and executing the tasks you have. Furthermore, you are familiar with applicable legislation and have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are interested in learning and developing in your work and take personal responsibility for ongoing knowledge development.

Before employment is offered, a criminal record extract must be provided.

A valid driver's license (class B) is required.
