JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now expanding the number of family therapists in Älvan's family group! Are you a social worker, have experience in social treatment work, and want an exciting, creative, and rewarding job with children/youth, parents, and families? Do you want to be part of a team with experienced, driven colleagues who care about development work? Then you are welcome to apply for this position with us in the Family Group.

Individual and family care (IFO) is divided into three units: the Investigation Unit, the Housing Unit, and the Support and Treatment Unit. At Älvan, Ängelholm Municipality's treatment unit for children aged 0-18, there are currently 12 knowledgeable and driven family therapists divided into two groups, the Resource Team and the Family Group.

The families, children/youth, and parents that the Family Group works with come to us either through assignments from government social workers or by contacting us directly via the Family Group's service phone. The Family Group works based on a clear child perspective and offers qualified treatment work from a systems-theoretical and salutogenic approach to families, children, and youth, as well as to individual parents. Conversations are mainly offered in the unit's premises but can also take place in the home environment. The treatment work is designed based on each family's and individual's needs, with great emphasis on respectful treatment. Important in the change work is the collaboration that takes place with internal and external partners. Collegial support and case discussions are a given working method where the group also has external supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a social worker and has further education in basic psychotherapy (Step 1). We want you to have several years of experience in psychosocial treatment work with children, youth, and their families, and preferably training in Trappan/KIBB and Marte Meo.

As the work targets individuals in vulnerable situations, it is important that you have a working method that creates trust and confidence. You need to be clear, have good communication skills, a well-developed ability to collaborate, and a humble approach. You need to be a stable person who is confident in your competence and able to adapt methods and working methods based on needs. For us, it is important that you are flexible, someone who sees opportunities and has a good ability to work systematically towards set goals. You have good documentation and IT skills. Personal suitability is of great importance.

A driver's license is required.
