Part-time Assistants Wanted for Personal Assistance

The Cooperative Hand in Hand is a member-driven organization established in 1995 for individuals entitled to assistance. Our members are located in Skåne, Halland, southern Småland, Västra Götaland, Stockholm, and Jämtland. We have offices in Halmstad, Hässleholm, and Malmö. We support our members with everything from applying for hours with the Social Insurance Agency/municipality to personnel issues regarding personal assistants. We believe that the work of a personal assistant is one of the most important jobs there is, as it provides an opportunity for another person to live their life like everyone else.

I am a 25-year-old guy living centrally in Hässleholm. In my free time, I usually watch football and hang out with friends. A day with me can be spent at home in front of the TV, at a football match, or with my family and friends. As an assistant, you will accompany me wherever I go, which may require you to be flexible at times. If I plan to go away, work hours may need to change a bit.

I am now looking for part-time assistants who can work when one of my regular assistants is absent. I have assistance around the clock. The working hours are 7-19 and 19-7 on weekdays. On weekends, it is 9-21 and 21-9.

I have a muscle disease that makes me weak in my muscles, so I need help with all practical tasks, such as transfers, hygiene, and household chores. You must also have good physical fitness as there are some heavy tasks involved in the job. It is a smoke-free working environment.

For me, personal chemistry is the most important, and for the collaboration to work well, you must be attentive. I need to feel that I can be myself, even though I have assistants with me around the clock. Therefore, you must be able to sense when you are needed and when to take a step back. You should also be able to blend into social contexts and feel comfortable making jokes and laughing together. A positive attitude goes a long way.

I am looking for someone between 20-45 years old. I have both girls and boys in my assistant group, so everyone is welcome to apply.
