About the Position

The assistance user is a charming and cheerful girl who enjoys long walks, music, and being herself. For certain activities such as outings, horseback riding, shopping, and dining, there are always two of you, as she requires double assistance. You will receive individualized training in all aspects of the customer's needs and routines, regardless of previous experience.

The Role and Experience of the Assistant

If you have experience working as a personal assistant, with autism, epilepsy, low-arousal approaches, and/or AAC, it is a merit but not decisive. The important thing is that you possess the right qualities for the profession and that you can be both empathetic, organized, able to plan and take initiative, while also having a great sense of humor and warmth. You have great respect for everyone's right to live their life, and you see that your work makes that possible.

You will work approximately every other weekend. Each shift is between 8 and 10 hours, with both day and night shifts available.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with low-arousal approaches
• Experience with AAC
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with autism
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Working Hours/Employment Rate

• There are part-time positions (two standing shifts per week, including weekends), by agreement.
• Extra work available as needed during sick leave and vacations.
• Immediate start.
• Working hours are scheduled for afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
• Double assistance may occur.

About Salary

• We apply salary according to collective agreements.

The position involves hours throughout the day, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We are looking for summer help, but there is also the possibility to continue working into the fall with a fixed schedule. The position is approximately 60-90 percent.
