The Adult Psychiatry Clinic on Fosievägen is located in central Malmö and is tasked with assessing, investigating, diagnosing, and treating patients with general psychiatric diagnoses. The clinic offers a wide range of treatments, including assessments, pharmacological treatment, support conversations, psychodynamic, cognitive or behavioral therapy, and group therapy with various focuses.

The clinic currently has about 45 employees, and our catchment area includes just over a third of Malmö's population. Adult psychiatry in Malmö is a workplace with competent, highly specialized, and dedicated staff who constantly work to develop and improve the clinic's operations. The team consists of various professional categories, including medical secretaries, caregivers, doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and occupational therapists.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We now welcome two new colleagues to our clinic!

As a social worker with us, you will work both independently and in various team constellations with other professionals. The work includes individual treatments and group therapies, as well as participating in team conferences and professional group meetings.

An important part of the social worker's role is collaboration, and you will have joint meetings with the patient's network, both within psychiatry (such as our inpatient departments) and external actors (for example, social services). As a social worker, you also have a responsibility to monitor the child's perspective. The position also includes supervising students, participating in consultations, being a fixed care contact, and establishing care plans.

The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a trained social worker. It is highly meritorious if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker authorized to work within Swedish healthcare. If you belong to a licensed professional group, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required.

We would like you to have experience in social work and/or clinical work within psychiatric outpatient care, such as assessment, investigation, and treatment. It is advantageous if you have further training in psychotherapy.
