Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a woman in her 65s living in Kristianstad

• is structured and has good communication skills

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• is physically fit
• is non-smoking

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work

• have education in healthcare and social care

• share the client's interests such as creative activities and crafts at home.

Our client prefers female applicants, and great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 10-31% during the summer months.

The job involves working during daytime, evening, and night on weekdays and weekends distributed over June, July, August, and September. There may be a possibility to work more hours.

The working hours are varied and are from 21:00-09:00 (with 5.5 hours of standby time at night), 07:00-17:30, 07:00-12:30, or 07:00-14:30.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you as an applicant can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
