Job Responsibilities

Your mission at Västra School involves being active in student groups during school hours and after school. At times, you may need to support individual students who require assistance both during class time and in free situations. You support and motivate students, both at the group and individual levels. In collaboration with teachers and other staff at the school, the social pedagogue shapes and develops the school's learning environment to create a safe and stimulating environment that contributes to the students' learning and development. The social pedagogue works with the school's values and actively participates in the school's development work. The social pedagogue contributes to a holistic view where society, group, and individual collaborate.

Qualifications

You who are applying have a post-secondary education as a social pedagogue from either folk high school, vocational college, qualified vocational training, or university. If you have experience working as a social pedagogue or from a similar role previously, it is an advantage. Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.

We also consider it advantageous if you have experience working with children, preferably in a school. Furthermore, you have a good understanding and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can apply them in daily work.

Of course, you have a professional approach and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
