We are now looking for staff for one of our group homes in Åhus.

As an employee within Support Services, you, together with the unit manager, colleagues, and other partners, will help develop the operations and actively promote cooperation with other activities within the area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities mainly consist of providing our clients with:

• individual support and care
• developing and maintaining abilities and communication considering disabilities
• supporting clients' participation in leisure and cultural activities
• supporting clients' participation at all levels: individual, group, and community level
• supporting clients' self-determination and personal integrity
• ensuring social documentation according to applicable guidelines
• if applicable, performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse

We are looking for someone who can work day/evening/weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an approved care and nursing program or a child and leisure program or other equivalent education, as well as experience working with people with disabilities. We would prefer if you have previously worked as a support assistant, in care-related work, and/or educational work within LSS operations.

Since the job requires communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with journal systems such as LifeCare is an advantage.

As a person, you are socially competent and have good collaboration skills, are stress-resistant, flexible, and find solutions in everyday life. You have a professional approach to everyone you meet in your work. Furthermore, you have the ability to plan and structure your work from a holistic perspective, can make independent decisions while respecting decisions made by others, and can perform work on behalf of others. You are attentive to the needs of the clients. You can work both independently and together with colleagues.

OTHER

The operations of the Care Administration target the elderly and individuals who need support services, as well as those requiring home healthcare. The operations are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and support services. The administration also includes the authority unit, national gymnasium, and assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
