JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Authority Office consists of 4 assistance officers, 2 LSS/SoL officers, and one social psychiatry officer.
The workgroup is divided into two office areas, both located in Osby. The LSS/SoL and social psychiatry officers have their office within a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station. The assistance officers have their office within a 10-minute walk from the local train/bus station.
The Authority Office holds regular joint workplace meetings, and since the workgroup is small, support for each other and community is highly prioritized.
Working as an LSS officer involves receiving applications, investigating needs, making decisions, and following up on existing decisions regarding LSS interventions for children and adults with various disabilities.
The role of the LSS officer also includes handling housing support according to SoL for individuals who belong to the LSS target group.
In the role of case officer, you will closely collaborate with your colleagues. You will also cooperate with other case officers and other professionals within both the region and the municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker with experience in case management within LSS; a B driver's license is also required as travel is part of the job.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, where you should have a professional approach and handle difficult conversations and decisions respectfully.
Experience with documentation in Treserva is an advantage.
A criminal record extract must be presented by the person offered employment.
OTHER
There is an opportunity to combine the job with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on the needs of the operation.
