Within the administration of Psychiatry, habilitation, and aids, there are eleven physical youth clinics (UM) and UM Skåne Online. We are organized into five areas, each with its own unit manager under a common operations manager. Trelleborg forms a unit together with Ystad and Vellinge. Since all three clinics are small, we strive for structure, freedom, and trust to meet the youth in the best way from a holistic perspective. The staff consists of social workers, midwives, nurses, and doctors. We work with young people aged 12 until the day they turn 23. Our mission is to work preventively, health-promoting, and treatment-oriented within; physical and mental health, sexual and reproductive health and rights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a social worker, you will work with psychosocial assessments, supportive, and treatment work with youth. The role primarily involves individual work but also preventive and outreach work in the youth's arenas, as well as collaboration with other organizations targeting youth. You will meet the youth both physically and digitally, preferably from the clinics in Trelleborg and Vellinge. Mostly, it will be individual conversations, but group discussions may also occur. Contact with the youth's network will occur as needed. With us, you will have a great opportunity to influence the development of the youth clinic and the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have a degree in social work. If you belong to a licensed professional group, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. For non-licensed professions, good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required. We would like you to want to develop and plan to take basic training in sexology and psychotherapy corresponding to step 1. It is an advantage if you are a licensed health and medical care social worker and have basic psychotherapy step 1.

To succeed in the position, you must be secure in your professional role and curious about development. Additionally, you are creative, flexible, and always start from what is best for the youth. The work requires a positive outlook, commitment, and respect for young people's living conditions and human rights. We value your desire to help develop the unit and the youth clinic over time. Local knowledge of the youth's living conditions in the area will facilitate success. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
