About the Organization

Patia Support Housing Helsingborg offers support to adults with psychosocial issues, mental health problems, harmful use/dependency, comorbidity, previous criminality, and other social challenges. We work on behalf of the social services and provide individualized interventions to promote the client's development and independence.

Our goal with all placements is for clients to establish themselves with their own housing, functioning occupations, drug-free living, and to increase their prosocial network alongside a non-criminal daily life.

About the Position

As a treatment pedagogue, you play a central role in the daily work at the support housing. You are responsible for a number of clients and work closely with them based on the social services' care plan. This includes, among other things:

• Motivational conversations and support in contacts with authorities.
• Social skills training and practical guidance.
• Collaboration with external actors to promote the client's development.
• Administrative tasks such as record-keeping, implementation plans, risk analyses, and monthly reporting in accordance with the Social Services Act.

We are looking for someone who has

• A post-secondary education in social work (at least 400 YH points).
• Experience in social work.
• Good knowledge of the Social Services Act.
• Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• A valid driver's license (B).

Meritorious

Experience working with dependency issues, criminality, mental health problems, and comorbidity. Knowledge of methods such as MI, Crime as a Lifestyle, or Relapse Prevention.
