JOB DESCRIPTION

Bjuv municipality is now looking for two (2) safety guards (summer substitutes) to complement our team!

Are you longing to work operationally with safety creation and crime prevention issues?

As a safety guard, you work preventively and are skilled at building relationships with children, youth, and adults. You are a good role model, guiding children and youth to activities and creating networks with various actors in society. The goal of your work is to increase the perceived safety in the municipality.

Job Responsibilities

As a safety guard, you are organizationally under the culture and leisure administration. The assignment is varied, and one shift is not like the other.

You work to create an increased sense of safety in the municipality, and your main working tool is your way of communicating, creating contact, and relationships. Your work is mobile and outreach in public environments around the municipality and is planned so that you, as a safety guard, are present in activities and at places that the municipality's youth and adults visit.

During the summer, the majority of shifts are scheduled for evenings/early nights.

As a person, you are responsible, secure, and calm in pressured situations. You are outgoing and have a good ability to build relationships with those you are there for, which you do with the help of your communication and attentiveness. You enjoy collaborating with others and persevere until the goal is achieved. You will work closely with your colleagues, and it is important that you get along. Therefore, we place great importance on personal suitability.

You have a good understanding of what the municipality's community assignment entails. The position requires good Swedish in speech and writing; it is advantageous if you also handle other languages. To be eligible for the position, a B driver's license is required as the working hours do not align with public transport. A criminal record extract must be presented before any employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a complete high school diploma, and we would like you to have experience in safety work or relationship-building work. It is strongly meritorious to have post-secondary education that the employer finds suitable for the position and/or documented experience from social services, youth-oriented work/social work, schools, security, and rescue services.
