Vejbyhem VoB is a well-established organization that offers supported housing and/or sheltered accommodation for both women and men. With extensive experience in providing protective measures with psychosocial and practical support to people in various forms of vulnerability, we strive to create a safe and stable environment for our clients.

We are now looking for committed and driven individuals for the role of protection consultant/support staff with us. As part of our expanded team, you will play a significant role in the support and change work to give our clients the best possible conditions for an independent and safe life.

Job Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking staff to expand our existing team of protection consultants/support staff. You will primarily work with clients placed in protective housing for our various target groups. As part of our team, you will work to promote the client's transition to a life free from violence and insecurity. You understand the complex and challenging process of leaving a life marked by threats and violence, and you work to provide the necessary support and resources to facilitate the transition to a safe life.

An important part of our work involves following the ongoing risk assessment for the client together with the client’s referral source. We also offer advice and support in practical or legal matters as well as support conversations in various forms.

Requirements and Qualifications:

It is desirable that you, as an applicant, have the required experience and are well-versed in protective work or similar interventions and support functions from previous experience. Recruitment will take place continuously, so please submit your application as soon as you can. The position may be filled during the recruitment period.

Other requirements for the position include:

· At least two years of post-secondary education with a focus on social work or equivalent.

· A valid driver's license (B) is required.

· Work experience in social work, preferably with the target group mentioned above.

· Education in therapeutic areas is an advantage.

· Experience in documentation and record-keeping.

· Confident in yourself and able to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally.

· Knowledge of areas such as domestic violence, honor-related violence, mental health issues, and criminality and addiction problems.

· Flexible and open to varying tasks and working hours.

Note! For monthly employment, on-call duty is included in the position. Special compensation is provided for on-call duty.
