JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for responsible and dedicated support assistants/Personal Assistants, both permanent staff and substitutes, for a newly started case to provide care and support to a man in his 30s. Our client has special needs, and we are looking for individuals who can offer safe and competent assistance in his daily life. The client lives in a satellite apartment where the work will be performed, and you will work alone with the client. If you have experience in care, are calm and patient, and have specific experience working with tracheostomy, insulin treatment, tube feeding, and catheters, you might be the one we are looking for. If you are interested in football and have a sense of humor, that is a plus.

• Provide practical and personal support in daily life, including assistance with personal care and everyday tasks.
• Be responsible for care and medical tasks, such as insulin treatment and tube feeding.
• Support with tracheostomy (airway management).
• Plan and implement activities in accordance with LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) to support the client in developing and having a meaningful daily life.
• Work to stimulate and facilitate participation in activities that the client finds interesting and meaningful.
• Document in Lifecare and ensure that the user receives the care and support he needs.
• Create a safe and positive environment where the client feels respected and involved.

QUALIFICATIONS

Trained nursing assistant or personal assistant.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Documented experience in care and work with medical interventions, such as insulin, tube feeding, and tracheostomy.
• A calm and methodical approach, as well as the ability to work independently.
• A genuine interest in working with people and creating safety for them.
• Experience or education in care or similar.
• Good references from previous employers.

Meritorious:

• Experience working with individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities.
• Experience handling medical technical equipment.
