Job Responsibilities

Welcome to the department of authority, social psychiatry, and children in the Functional Support Administration.

We are looking for someone with a strong interest and commitment to work with adults who have both mental health issues and needs for personal care. You will support, motivate, and assist users in their daily lives. The participation of users is important, which places high demands on your ability to motivate and build relationships. Personal care is part of the assignment.

As a support assistant, you will be part of a work group of 8 people. In addition to support assistants, there are support educators and a support educator with an extended assignment. The support educator with an extended assignment leads the work group in the pedagogical work with the users.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a completed high school diploma with a focus on care and nursing or children and leisure.

You have experience working with people with mental disabilities. You also have experience in care work.

To thrive with us, you must be solution-focused. You are proactive, flexible, attentive, and used to taking responsibility. You should have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their conditions. For us, it is important to have a professional approach towards users, relatives, and other partners. It comes naturally to you to create and maintain good relationships, and you see collaboration as a given.

Since all documentation is done digitally, computer skills are a requirement, and you must have good communication skills in both speech and writing.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

About the Workplace

The workplace is an LSS group home with 8 apartments located in Tygelsjö. We work in teams to ensure that those living in the facility receive adequate support and service. Many of our users have extensive care needs, so you need to have an interest in care tasks.

In the Functional Support Administration, over 3000 employees work together to create and develop even better support and services for people with disabilities. Our operations are within LSS, social psychiatry, personal assistance, escorts, and health care. Severely ill children receiving care at home are also part of our mission.
