Are you ready for a meaningful career where you make a difference every day? Paideia Öppenvård is now looking for dedicated social pedagogues, social workers, and behavioral scientists to join our team!

At Paideia Öppenvård, we are located in southern Skåne and work with children, youth, and families on behalf of the social services. With over 15 years of experience in treatment, we have set a high standard for our work and strive to become the most qualitative outpatient care in Skåne. Our vision is based on the belief that relationships are our primary tool for achieving real change, along with our evidence-based treatment methods.

As a therapist in our outpatient care, you will provide treatment in the form of conversations to individuals and families, both in the client's home and in the organization's premises in Malmö. The work is independent and requires structure, discipline, and a high degree of professionalism. You are responsible for conducting conversations according to the organization's methods, documenting these, following care plans, and ensuring that the treatment maintains high quality.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Compensation: 9000 SEK/month per assignment for 10 hours/week (only time with clients counts).
  • Training: Free training in our methods.
  • Supervision: External supervision available.
  • Petty cash: Access to petty cash for expenses in meetings with clients.
  • Travel compensation: Travel compensation for transport to and from client visits.

Conducting Conversations and Treatment

  • Conduct conversations with clients according to established care plans and implementation plans.
  • Use templates and online tools during conversations via tablet.
  • Create and maintain a good relationship with the individual and family.
  • Ensure that all conversations are conducted safely and with consideration to GDPR.

Documentation and Record Keeping

  • Document each conversation and meeting with the client.
  • Compile weekly reports with records, measurements, and assessments to send to the relevant social worker and client.
  • Participate in monthly follow-ups and report interventions to social workers.

Planning and Follow-Up

  • Create and update implementation plans based on the care plan.
  • Follow up on the client's progress and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Participate in monthly follow-ups with clients to assess the direction of the intervention.

Procedures and Processes

  • Be well acquainted with the organization's routines and the content of the treatment interventions.
  • Manage financial matters and expenses related to the service.
  • Plan and conduct transport in connection with client visits.

Safety and Incident Management

  • Be aware of and act according to the organization's safety routines.
  • Write incident reports as needed.
  • Assess when a situation is urgent and when it is necessary to call the police or other emergency services.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education in psychology, social work, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with conversations and treatment of individuals and families.
  • Good knowledge of documentation and record keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and other confidentiality regulations in the healthcare sector.

Working Hours and Expectations

  • Work takes place both during and after office hours as well as on weekends.
  • The position is based on hours worked with clients, where travel time to and from a meeting is not included.
  • Flexible workplace where conversations can take place in the organization's premises, the client's home, or another safe and suitable location.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 2 years of experience in treatment.
  • At least 1.5 years of education in behavioral science, such as social work or social pedagogy.
  • Access to a car and a driver's license.
  • Flexibility and availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Good experience in documentation and record keeping.
  • Ability to create good relationships and have a structured work method.
  • Knowledge of the treatment method Motivational Interviewing (M.I).
  • Good social skills and is a team player.
  • Ability to communicate well and work independently.
  • Experience working evidence-based according to the care plan.
  • A strong ethos that drives the work and takes full responsibility in all situations.
