SAAND Service & Omsorg operates in home care, personal assistance, escort services, and household services. We currently have offices in Linköping, Botkyrka, Västervik, Loftahammar, Karlstad, and Örebro, with the head office in Linköping.

WHO IS THE CLIENT?

The client is a youthful 62-year-old man who recently moved to Höör. He and his adoptive father usually spend their days together, and the father lives centrally in Höör. The man has reduced mobility, hearing, and speech abilities and is wheelchair-bound.

The job includes following the client in his daily life and helping him with everything he cannot do himself at home. This includes getting up from bed to wheelchair, using the toilet, dressing, preparing breakfast, snacks, and dinner, as well as feeding him (it is important to be right-handed). Don't worry, you will receive proper training. A manual driving license is required as the client has a car that the assistants drive when activities are conducted outside the home, which the client appreciates.

It is a plus if you have worked with people with reduced mobility, hearing, and speech abilities. The man enjoys socializing with his assistants, using a communication board to facilitate conversation. Patience is therefore very important.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

The client is looking for someone who is: Calm, reliable, and attentive, with self-motivation and who enjoys working with heart, has empathy, is responsible and takes initiative, cooks, and cleans at home.

Care education is a plus but not a requirement! Personal chemistry is crucial. You should be technically inclined as the client wishes for the assistant to help him with computer use.

DO YOU RECOGNIZE YOURSELF?

- We see that you are between 30-50 years old.

- You have experience working with individuals with similar disabilities.

- You easily follow instructions and are humble but can take initiative and plan.

- You are smoke-free and preferably completely tobacco-free, without strong perfumes, and have a driving license.

- You can speak and write fluent Swedish.

WORKING HOURS

09:00 - 22:00 varying days in the month. You will land on 10-12 shifts a month.
