Lingua Montessorischools is looking for an educator to work with students with special needs

Lingua Montessorischools is an F-6 school located in the beautiful Sankt Larsparken in Lund. The school has approximately 150 students distributed in mixed-age classes, as well as an associated preschool.

We are now looking for an engaged and responsible educator who wants to become part of our team and work with students with special needs. In the role of educator, you will work closely with the students to create a safe and supportive school and leisure environment where each student is given the opportunity to develop according to their individual conditions.

As an educator at Lingua Montessorischools, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the work team, which includes both primary school teachers and resource educators. Together, you will create teaching where the student’s development and learning, in accordance with Montessori pedagogy, is at the center. You will work to ensure that each student reaches their full potential and creates a context and interest for learning.

We see that you have relevant education and experience working with students with special needs, as well as a genuine interest in making a difference in these students' lives. You should have good collaboration skills, be structured, and be able to work both independently and goal-oriented. The ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner is also an important quality.

Since we at Lingua Montessorischools value language and diversity, we would like you to have language skills beyond Swedish, but good Swedish language skills are a requirement. Education in Montessori pedagogy is an advantage, as well as familiarity with the pedagogy.

The position is a temporary contract for two terms, starting in August 2025. We offer a workplace where Montessori pedagogy and individual development are the focus, as well as the opportunity to work together with an engaged team of colleagues.
