Furuboda Assistans is a private assistance provider in southern Sweden with roots in the non-profit Furuboda Association. The company was established in 2005 and is a growing business. About the assignment

We are now looking for someone who wants to make a difference for another person. As a personal assistant, you have an important role in someone else's life. You will be there for someone with disabilities, and with your help, the person can have the best possible everyday life. This may involve assisting the person in hygiene situations, preparing meals, shopping, taking the person to activities, performing physiotherapy, ADL, etc. You do not need to have experience, but it is an advantage if you have some experience in personal assistance or another healthcare profession. You should also be able to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you should be mature and stable, able to take your own initiatives, be attentive, and listen well. As a personal assistant, you often work independently with the client, which requires you to have the ability to organize and take responsibility. You usually work according to a schedule with times allocated during the day/evening/night/weekend. Employment levels may vary, but there is always the opportunity to work extra if needed.
