We are now looking for assistants for a 2-year-old boy.

He is diagnosed with 22q11 deletion syndrome, which has resulted in heart defects, a single kidney, breathing and swallowing difficulties. He has a tracheostomy and receives tube feeding via PEG and has a high susceptibility to infections.

He requires double assistance around the clock.

As a person, you should be calm and empathetic. It is an advantage if you have experience working with tracheostomy, cough machines, and tube feeding via PEG. Since the boy does not speak, it is a great benefit if you can communicate using TAKK and visual support. Experience with children is a plus.

Our client is now looking for someone who wants to work night shifts on a four-week rotating schedule.

You will always receive training before working independently.

Before a potential interview, we would like you to read up on 22q11 deletion syndrome.

As this is work with children, a criminal record extract is required. We would appreciate it if you could provide this before the interview.

It is important that you are comfortable with the fact that the parents are your employers, and they dictate how the work shift is organized.
