Welcome to us at LSS unit 25 within support functions! Our unit specializes in autism. At unit 25, we work both with personal assistance and in a group home.

We are now starting a new case regarding personal assistance and are therefore looking for a completely new work group.

Each employee will have their base placement but is expected to support other units as well.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities primarily consist of providing our clients with:

• Individual support and care
• Developing and maintaining abilities and communication considering the disability
• Supporting clients' participation at all different levels: individual, group, and community level
• Supporting clients' self-determination and personal integrity
• Being responsible for social documentation according to applicable guidelines
• Where applicable, performing medical tasks delegated by a nurse, or assisting clients with self-care
• Being a contact person and in this role ensuring that implementation plans are established and followed up
• Working at more than one workplace

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• A completed child and youth program with a focus on social work or educational work
• A completed care and nursing program with a focus on psychiatry or disabilities
• Other education that the employer finds equivalent.

The work requires experience working with people with disabilities. For the role, it is required that you have knowledge of autism, clear pedagogical methods, and low-arousal approaches. You also need to have knowledge of TAKK and experience working with educational programs.

Since the work involves communication and documentation, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. You need to be able to cycle, and a B driver's license for manual transmission is an advantage to drive our clients to activities.

As a person, you have good collaboration skills, are resilient to stress, and flexible to handle changing situations in work and in meeting with clients. You have a professional attitude and find it challenging to work at multiple workplaces. You can make your own decisions and carry out work on behalf of others.

OTHER

The care administration's activities are aimed at the elderly and people who need support functions as well as those who need home healthcare. The activities are functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and support functions. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the assistive technology center in Eastern Skåne.
