Örbäck Assistans AB is a small family business that has been operating in the industry since 2010, but has a total of 35 years of experience in the field.

We are now looking for a new colleague to join the team as a substitute/on-call assistant. It is not a hindrance if you have another occupation as well, such as studies or part-time work.

To be suitable for and enjoy this position, you should be calm, attentive, empathetic, flexible, and proactive. Experience in healthcare is an advantage, but not a requirement. Personal suitability is crucial.

The client is a 60-year-old man with an acquired brain injury. He is completely paralyzed and has no speech. He communicates through blinking and sometimes toe or thumb movements. Therefore, it is important that you are good at sensing people, that you are attentive, and that you are not unfamiliar with communicating on other levels than through speech.

The client needs help with everything, such as showering, using the toilet, feeding (via a tube), training, dressing, moving, etc. Some household chores are also included in the job.

The client has assistance around the clock, every day of the week. The schedule is a rolling 8-week schedule with shifts during the day, evening, and night, as well as weekends. As a personal assistant to this client, you will have tasks of both care and support nature.
