About the position

The assistance user is a charming and happy girl who enjoys long walks, music, and your company. For certain activities such as outings, horseback riding, shopping, and dining, there are always two of you, as she requires double assistance. You will receive personalized introduction to all aspects of the client’s needs and routines and training regardless of previous experience.

The role and experience of the assistant

If you have experience working as a personal assistant, with autism, epilepsy, low-arousal approach, and/or AAC, it is a merit but not decisive. The important thing is that you have the right qualities for the job and that you can be both empathetic, organized, able to plan and take initiative, while also having a great sense of humor and warmth. You have great respect for everyone’s right to live their life, and you see that your work makes it possible. You will work approximately every other weekend. Each shift is between 8 and 10 hours, with both day and night shifts available.

Desirable experiences

• Experience with low-arousal approach
• Experience with AAC
• Experience with epilepsy
• Experience with autism
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Working hours/employment rate

• Fixed schedule of 75 percent. There are part-time options (approximately 3–4 standing shifts per week, including weekends), by agreement.
• Extra work as needed during sick leave and vacations.
• Immediate start.
• Working hours are scheduled for days, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and school holidays.
• Double assistance is required.

About salary

• We apply salary according to collective agreement.

The position involves hours throughout the day, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. We are looking for summer help, but there is also an opportunity to continue working into the fall with a fixed schedule. The position is approximately 75 percent. You will need to provide a current extract from the criminal record. If you are called for an interview, we would like you to bring a current extract that is no more than one year old.
