The work involves investigation, assessment of needs for assistance rights, and decision-making according to the Social Services Act.

There are also tasks that include housing coordination. The social welfare officers make decisions on behalf of the care committee.

Your workplace will be at the Garnison area at Kanslihusvägen 6 in Hässleholm with good bus connections. A beautiful area with plenty of greenery.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another academic qualification that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have good knowledge of current legislation and have worked with authority exercise within care and support.

You should be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively. You are secure, stable, have a sense of good interaction, and work well with others. You need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

To perform your work, you need a B driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle.

You should share the values and approaches described in our employee and leadership policy.

Interviews are scheduled for Thursday, April 24th in the morning. If you proceed to the second interview, we plan for that on the afternoon of April 29th.

The mission of the Social Services Administration is to provide care, support, and treatment to elderly persons, persons with disabilities, and persons needing home healthcare. The administration has approximately 1,700 permanent employees and has a turnover of just over one billion kronor. The Social Services Administration is divided into four operational areas; regular housing, special housing, disability support and service, and the health and medical care department. The administration also includes the authority unit and a support staff with important functions such as HR, finance, and IT.
