What does the role of a personal assistant entail?

As a personal assistant, you will provide support in daily activities, such as personal hygiene, household chores, shopping, and accompanying on activities and meetings. Your work will be tailored to the individual needs and wishes of the user, with the goal of promoting an independent and meaningful life.

Qualifications:

• Experience in care work or similar is a requirement.
• We value personal qualities such as humility, flexibility, and responsiveness.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

About the User:

I am a positive woman in my 30s, with a cheerful demeanor and a great zest for life. I have both a mental and physical disability and rely on a wheelchair as well as using a lift at home. I primarily communicate through sounds, which makes it important that you have previous experience in this area and can interpret my needs.

I have a small, close-knit work group and live with my family, who are very involved in my assistance. It is important that you can easily collaborate and get along with my family, as we together create the best possible assistance for me.

As an assistant, you will be my helping hand, able to work independently and always stay one step ahead. You should also be attentive to my needs and able to act accordingly.
