Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

Our customer is an active young man who spends a lot of his time outdoors. He enjoys cycling, swinging, and walking. The customer has epilepsy and autism and requires constant supervision.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a young man in his 30s living in Oxie

• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

• has experience working with individuals with autism and epilepsy

• is tolerant of pets as the customer has dogs in the home

• is smoke-free

• enjoys being outdoors

• can support and train the customer in communication

• can work during the summer period

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in similar work

• share the customer’s interests such as cooking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job and is approximately 50%. The job involves working during the day and evening on weekdays and weekends during the period 2025 06 09 - 2025 08 31. Working hours are 08:00-16:00, 09:00-16:00, 14:00-21:00, and 09:00-16:00.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is according to collective agreements.

According to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as a personal assistant for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
