Coordinator Social Worker Wanted

The Department of Student Health and Coordination is now seeking a coordinator social worker who, with commitment and competence, wants to contribute to a sustainable school environment where students' health, learning, and development are the focus.

Responsibilities

As a coordinating social worker, you will be part of the Department of Student Health and Coordination's collective, cross-professional resource to support schools and the administration. You are responsible for providing operational support to colleagues and ensuring equity based on applicable governing documents through recurring professional networks. Through knowledge and new perspectives, you assist the administration with analyses and materials for the development and quality assurance of the operational area. You will also establish and make available routines and support materials, as well as work on assignments from the management and committee.

In your coordination role, you will lead employees who work with parenting support and staff in the school social team together with the Labor Market and Social Administration.

Other responsibilities include:

• organizing network meetings for high school social workers
• support for social workers working within psychosocial student health
• continuous development of the social worker module in Prorenata and issues related to social worker documentation
• introduction of new social workers within the administration
• collaboration with external and internal organizations

Furthermore, responsibilities include tasks in accordance with municipal council goals and based on the overarching goals of the high school and adult education administration.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• degree in social work, 210 credits
• experience working with children and youth within social services
• experience as a school social worker, preferably in high school
• good insight into the governing documents of schools and social services
• good digital competence
• proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable:

• training in motivational interviewing
• experience coordinating or leading within student health
• good experience collaborating with other authorities and participating in various networks
• experience working with young adults.

You lead and motivate by creating engagement and participation, provide support to achieve common goals, and coordinate groups. With a good approach, you plan and prioritize effectively, work solution-focused, and make well-founded assessments. You have a genuine interest in helping others and communicate proactively.
